The heiress shivered slightly as the gondola skimmed gently over the water surface. Her attentive husband of seven days put his coat around her shoulders. She stared in contentment at the moonlit sky as the gondolier hummed a soulful melody.
“Is my husband really so caring, or is this just a trap, a ploy to get at my money, “she thought.
“Will he always be so caring?
Only time will tell; so why don’t I just enjoy this moment.”
